Ranch Horse Sport für alle Rassen
Die German Paint 2026 in Kreuth wird auch im diesen Jahr wieder ein echtes Highlight für Ranch Horse Sport. Gemeinsam mit der International Ranch Horse Association (IRHA) erwarten euch spannende Klassen, attraktive Preisgelder und echtes Ranch Horse Feeling — und das rasseoffen für alle Pferde.
Die IRHA Klassen sind längst mehr als nur eine Ergänzung im Zeitplan der German Paint. Sie stehen für modernen, praxisorientierten Ranch Horse Sport und bieten die perfekte Bühne für alle, die Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail und Ranch Rail lieben. Egal ob Paint Horse, Quarter Horse oder andere geeignete Ranch Horse Typen — teilnehmen können Pferde aller Rassen ab drei Jahren.
Gerichtet werden alle Klassen nach den aktuellen APHA Regeln. Angeboten werden zwei Divisionen: Open und Non Pro. In jeder Division stehen drei Klassen zur Auswahl: Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail und Ranch Rail. Damit bietet die German Paint vielseitigen Ranch Horse Sport in professioneller Showatmosphäre.
Besonders attraktiv macht die IRHA Klassen das Preisgeldkonzept. Statt Schleifen und Pokalen wird direkt um Geldpreise geritten. Die Startgebühr beträgt 30 Euro pro Klasse, wobei 75 % der Startgebühren als Preisgeld ausgeschüttet werden. Genau diese sportliche und unkomplizierte Ausrichtung macht den besonderen Reiz der Ranch Klassen aus und sorgt jedes Jahr für starke Starterfelder und hochwertige Ritte.
Ranch Riding und Ranch Trail werden auf der German Paint außerdem class in class mit den jeweiligen APHA Klassen durchgeführt. Wer sowohl in der APHA als auch in der IRHA Wertung starten möchte, muss beide Klassen nennen und hat damit die Möglichkeit, gleichzeitig APHA Punkte zu sammeln und zusätzlich um Preisgeld zu reiten.
Für die Teilnahme an den IRHA Klassen ist eine IRHA Membership verpflichtend. Die gute Nachricht: Im Jahr 2026 ist diese Mitgliedschaft kostenlos. Die Registrierung erfolgt online unter https://forms.apha.com/team/apha/IRHAIntMembership und muss anschließend per E-Mail an die Meldestelle nachgewiesen werden.

Ranch Horse Sport for All Breeds
German Paint 2026 in Kreuth is once again set to become a true highlight for Ranch Horse competition. In cooperation with the International Ranch Horse Association (IRHA), exhibitors can look forward to exciting classes, attractive payout money, and authentic Ranch Horse atmosphere — open to horses of all breeds.
The IRHA classes have long become much more than just an addition to the German Paint schedule. They represent modern, practical Ranch Horse competition and provide the perfect stage for everyone who loves Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, and Ranch Rail. Whether you compete with a Paint Horse, Quarter Horse, or another suitable Ranch Horse type, horses of all breeds aged three years and older are eligible to participate.
All classes will be judged according to current APHA rules. Two divisions will be offered: Open and Non Pro. Each division includes three classes: Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, and Ranch Rail. This creates a versatile and highly competitive Ranch Horse program within the professional show atmosphere of the German Paint.
One of the most attractive features of the IRHA classes is the payout format. Instead of ribbons and trophies, competitors ride for prize money. The entry fee is 30 Euro per class, with 75% of the entry fees paid back as prize money. This straightforward and sport-oriented concept is exactly what makes the Ranch classes so appealing and contributes to strong entries and high-quality runs year after year.
In addition, Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail will be offered class-in-class with the corresponding APHA classes during the German Paint. Exhibitors who wish to compete for both APHA and IRHA awards must enter both classes, giving them the opportunity to earn APHA points while also competing for IRHA payout money.
An IRHA membership is required to participate in the IRHA classes. The good news: membership will be free of charge in 2026. Registration is available online at https://forms.apha.com/team/apha/IRHAIntMembership and proof of membership must subsequently be submitted to the show office via email.
